Nîmes is a small city of 150,000 Nimoise. It is of ancient Roman origins, and is the place where denim was invented!

Why France, you ask?

NOT because I don’t love the U.S. I do.
And not because France is perfect. It is not.
I’m 74 this year, and the better question seemed to be, “Why not?”

So, what's it like?

So far, so good! I'm going to try to add images and experiences along the way, so that we can stay well-connected. That is an important part of my enjoyment of life so far from home.
